About lions

Lions, often referred to as the “King of the Jungle,” are majestic
big cats native to the grasslands and savannas of Africa and parts of
India. Known for their golden coats and iconic manes in males, lions are
powerful predators and social animals that live in groups called
prides. They are apex predators, often hunting in coordinated teams to
catch prey like zebras, antelopes, and wildebeests. While their roars
can be heard up to 5 miles away, lions are also symbols of strength,
courage, and leadership. Sadly, they are vulnerable due to habitat loss
and human-wildlife conflicts.
