Newdad- MADRA (2024)<\/p>
This album is quite a good mix of Rock and alternative Indie, providing the listener with one-of-a-kind experience, and considering the quality of this album it is very surprising that this is the band\u2019s debut album. Consisting of 11 songs and being 41 minutes long this album is not too long, but not too short either. My personal favorites from this album would definitely be \u201cSickly sweet\u201d and \u201cNosebleed\u201d.<\/p>
Kate Bush- Never for Ever (1980)<\/p>
Despite turning 45 this year and being thrice my age this album did not fail to impress me. It\u015b whimsical sounding paired with ethereal vocals creates a special atmosphere. It’s a shame that the album is overshadowed by Tiktok-famous \u201cBabooshka\u201d, since there is much more to this album than just Babooshka, for example \u201cEgypt\u201d, \u201cThe Wedding List\u201d or the famous \u201cArmy Dreamers\u201d. This album is surely a necessary listen, since everyone will add at least one song to their playlist after giving it a listen!<\/p>
Phantom Siita- Girlhood Memories (2024)<\/p>
The first ever album by Japanese girl group \u201cPhantom Siita\u201d was surely a phenomenal debut. Produced by Japanese singer Ado, this group goes for a similar vibe as Ado. Emotional texts, incredible vocals and visuals alongside diversity of used instrumentals creates an extremely strong first impression and makes the listener yearn for more. My highlights of the album would definitely be \u201cOtomodachi\u201d and \u201cHanabami\u201d.<\/p>
FKA Twigs- EUSEXUA (2025)<\/p>
The best January release. Clubish beats,deep, personal lyrics, interesting collaborations, experimental approach\u2026 EUSEXUA has it all: from pure chaos in \u201cDrums of Death\u201d to sensitive ballad \u201cKeep it, Hold it\u201d to dancey \u201cChildlike Things\u201d made in collaboration with North West. If you are living in Prague mark your calendars, since Twigs is coming to Prague on March 8th, 2025!! Even though i already mentioned multiple songs, my personal favourites would probably be either \u201cRoom of Fools\u201d or \u201cSticky\u201d, but they\u0155e both beyond amazing, so i am not going to choose.<\/p>
Doechii- Alligator Bites Never Heal (2025)<\/p>
One of the most deserved Grammys this year, and one of my favourite hip-hop albums of all time. Doechi explores various themes, and pairing it with different beats and styles was definitely one of the best decisions she\u2019s ever made. There are calmer tracks like \u201cBLOOM\u201d and \u201cWAIT\u201d, and some really energetic ones \u201cNISSAN ALTIMA\u201d and the TikTok sensation \u201cDENIAL IS A RIVER\u201d. My personal favorites from this mixtape would probably be \u201cBOILED PEANUTS\u201d, \u201cCATFISH\u201d or \u201cGTFO\u201d.<\/p>
Charli XCX- Vroom Vroom EP (2016)<\/p>
Produced by SOPHIE, this is for sure one of Charli\u2019s most hyperpop works up to this day. The only collab on this EP is \u201cParadise\u201d featuring Hannah Diamond. There really isn\u2019t much to say about this work, since it is only 12 minutes long, so why don\u2019t you give it a listen and see for yourself?<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
